Blessed

My children are all around me for now. Don't know how long it will last. That is completely up to the Lord. I am going to be thankful for it while it last. Some times the Lord has things in store for us that we never learn why and some times we do. I am praying that this is a good thing and He will let me know why so I can be even more thankful.

The Lord has blessed me in many was.

Last night was a true blessing, I was able to witness to one of my co workers. I can't tell you any names by law. I can how ever tell you what happened. We work 3rd shift (which is not as easy as folks might think). Any way there was only 2 of us to take care of 57 patients. (That in its self is hard), the night wasn't going to bad until about 2am just before we were going to take our lunch break. (Which we never did get). Anyway the other person called for my help because she had a mess and a half to clean up. We got the person almost done when the charge nurse told me I had the same problem on my end of the hall. I left her almost done and went to the person. That done about 3am. I was checking on the others and lost a patient. Found her in an empty room using the trash can as a toilet I started laughing. I called out to the other to let her no all was well. She asked what was so funny ? Sense  by now she is at the door way I motioned for her to come in. (Now that in it self is not something to laugh at.) But the night has already gone so bad the only thing left was to laugh or cry I chose to laugh and praise the Lord. She chose to cry at first, then she started laughing to. (Now I am not sure if she was laughing with me or at me). She said you are always so cheerful how do do it? My reply was. " Thank the Lord for taking care of the problem and helping through it. Every morning when I walk out of the building I thank God for blessing me with a great night." She asked "How is that a blessing?" I said "Simple, I am not hurt, no patient is hurt, my co workers aren't hurt and we all still have a  job! I would call that Blessed. What a Great night!!."

I pray that all of you have a Blessed Day!
